Victoria Jean Photo Art
We all know that photography should tell a story. For me, my story seems to keep evolving and my photography along with it. Take the journey with me, through my site, where I share my experiences through each photograph.
I was born and raised on a dairy farm in rural Wisconsin. I took my first photography class in high school where I learned all about film photography and using a darkroom to develop and manipulate the images I created. It was obvious to me then that I would follow some path in photography.
Since those days, I have moved into the digital era and continue to educate myself in the aspects of this field.
I graduated with honors from Olympic College in the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State with an Associates of Technical Arts in Web Development and an emphasis in Photography. My husband's Naval career moved us from coast to coast; upon his retirement after 20 years of service, we settled in Southeastern Tennessee.
I have been honored to work side by side with some of the greatest photographers to be found in the Pacific Northwest, as well as South Carolina, and have watched and learned from them.
I stay actively involved with photography, and am very grateful for the wealth of knowledge and resources my peers share with me. I have been able to visit some stunning locations where I can practice my skills and capture some pretty fantastic scenes.
I have grown by leaps and bounds with the education and mentorships offered to me. As I move forward, I will always seek more adventure so I can continue to learn and grow through those experiences.
