We recently had the good fortune of camping out on St George Island on the panhandle of Florida. I was thrilled to have such dark skies to photograph the Milky Way with. This shot was taken early in the evening, during blue hour after sunset. It is a panoramic image with 7 individual images of the Milky Way stitched together over the dock where I stood. Off on the horizon is St George Island where we would camp the very next evening. It truly is a beautiful place.
